The goal of the RESOLV - REconstruction using Scanner Laser and Video project was the development of an autonomous three-dimensional reconstruction system for indoor environments using laser and video. The project began on October 1995, ending in December 2000, after achieving its main objectives.
The reconstructed 3D models of real indoor environments may be visited through the Internet, using a VRML - Virtual Reality Modeling Language enabled browser. The system is also operated remotely through the Internet, using specialised tools developed by the RESOLV consortium.
